For shows in Holland the Boston Tea Party will bring their own PA and light system for rooms up to 800 people indoor (400 pax outdoor). Bigger venues are no problem; just ask for more light and PA...

PA and light system on location?

If there is already a PA system and/or light system on location, we will gratefully use the PA and light available.
Boston Tea Party will always works with their own Front of House (FOH), monitor (MON), light technician and production manager (total of 4).
We will also bring our own backline, complete monitor system (part is in-ear, part is normal wedge monitoring), all microphones, cables, monitor amps and stage block.  So we will bring everything for the stage, plus a stage block and spinners to connect our set-up to the stage block on the venue.
If a sufficient FOH mixing desk is not available, we will bring that also ourselves (preferably not by the way).

Technical rider / Technische rider

1. Sound system
A professional system, capable to deliver sufficient sound pressure depending on the size of the room: 400-1000 persons 2 x 5kW, 1000-2000 2 x 8 kW, outdoor on specification. The sound system must be placed on the floor or in side wings, NEVER on the stage!

2. Front of house
Yamaha M7CL-48 or Digico D1, D5, SD7, SD8 or SD9. Or a professional FOH desk, minimum 32/8/2 (Midas,Yamaha, Amek TAC ); minimum 2 sweeps and 2 shelving EQ per channel. Phantom power must be obtainable on each channel. Inserts on all channels and subgroups. Parametric or 1/3 octave EQ's on main outputs. 3 digital effects (TC Electronics, Lexicon, Yamaha, Sony, Dynacord); one digital delay. 6 compressors / limiters, 6 noise gates (Focusrite, Drawner, BSS, Klark Technik, DBX).

3. Monitor system
Yamaha M7CL-48 provided by Boston Tea Party. Only for shows abroad: A professional monitor desk, minimum 24/10, minimum 2 sweeps and 2 shelving EQ. Per channel: minimum 4 band parametric EQ's or 1/3 octave graphic EQ's on all outputs), 8 high quality wedges, 12"/2" powered by 8 x 500W (minimum) amps.

4. Microphones

5. Basic lighting system
Whatever is available. If a small light system is available, Boston Tea Party will complete the light system by placing some Mac beams and MAC wash. Lighting desk preferably Avolites Pearl. Hazer generator controlled from desk.

6. Stage plan

7. NO
Peavey, Mitec, Zeck, Stage Line, Custom, Etc. !!!

8. Personnel
At least one experienced technician, familiar with the provided light and sound system.

9. Intercom System
One Channel intercom between FOH and MON mixing console.

10. Ready!
The system must be fully build, checked, patched and ready when the crew of Boston Tea Party arrives on location.

Wireless systems
Boston Tea Party will use there own wireless microphone system and in-ear system. Wireless microphone system Shure UHF-R, frequencies between 790-865 Mhz. Wireless in-ear system Sennheiser ew 300 IEM G3, frequencies between 734-776 or (2nd wireless set) 823-865 Mhz.

Stage / Podium

Stage
Min. 5 x 8 meters, better: 6 x 10 meters, (abs. min. 4 x 6).  Keep clear 1,5 meters at the rear and left and right of the stage for light stands and PA.
Maximum distance of 6 meter from backside of the drumriser to the front of the stage (minimum 4 meters).
